A 100-level puzzle journey
Recover the Core in Story Mode
Story mode turns MerjUp's can-merging system into a structured 100-level journey to recover the Core. Each stage gives your aiming and board-management choices a clear objective while steadily asking for stronger chains.
Progress with a purpose
The 100 levels frame each puzzle as part of the effort to recover the Core. Within each board, aim launches and combine matching cans into higher tiers.
Develop reliable merge plans
Use press-slide-release aiming to build setups that connect matching collisions across several tiers. A chain merge can reduce the stack without requiring another launch.
Apply the same core mechanics
Story uses the same matching collisions found in Classic and Survival. Preserve space and recognize available pairs while working through its level-based objective.
Treat each level as practice for cleaner chains
Because Story mode is structured, it is a strong place to learn repeatable habits: avoid isolated tall columns, keep matching tiers within reach, and notice when a small merge will open space for a larger one. Those habits carry into timed and endless runs, where there is less room to pause and rethink a messy board. Replay the same idea with cleaner angles until the board stays lower and the next match is easier to see. The lesson is progress plus consistency. A cleared lane near the center usually gives the next launch more options.
